15/12/2025 In preparation of the vacation

Heyhey, everybuddy!! Hope everyone is having a really good day!! The holidays and my birthday are comming, so like last year, I'll be out of my house for a while pretty soon, so I decided to write one last blogpost for the year along with a few other updates which are already put into place! I'll try to go into every interesting thing that happened in the past few weeks, so let's get to it!!

The Contest:

I've already mentioned a few times over here, but in case you don't know or don't remember, I was part of a little art contest that the course I taking was hosting. It took me a very long time to finish it, as it was the first time I made something of that scale and also because I wanted to hear the thoughts of my mentor (they put a mentor to each participant which you could contact each week to discuss the artwork), but even when I finished I wasn't allowed to show it anywhere else before the results were in, so I had to wait for a while until I could get the green light. Well!! The green light is already on, which means you can see my artwork in the 2025 art gallery!!
In the end, my work didn't managed to get into the finals, which is kind of a bummer, but it was said in the email that it was pretty close to get there, which I suppose it means it was alive and kicking until the final round, which makes me really happy!! My mentor was pretty happy with it as well, after all for my first time working on contests like this, I managed to get pretty far! Hopefully there is more in the future so I could try my hand on it once again. It was kinda stressful somewhere at the finish line, not gonna lie, but I think the experience was pretty fun!!

Hanging out with friends:

Last saturday I hanged out with my friends on the shopping mall near the course I'm taking. We wanted to see it eachother one last time before my holiday trip and to commemorate my birthday (which is gonna happen during the trip). We ate some pizza (which was really yummy) and I also got gifts from my friends! Also there was a japanese event happening at the mall during that time, so we decided to check it out as well. I didn't bought anything there, but they did buy some things to eat, which I also tried tasting it and such. After that we all said "goodbye" and went on separete ways.
It was really fun to get to talk with everyone and get to do these fun things! I'm really glad to have met them last year!! I hope we get to talk much more next year and also we could do much more cool stuff, that would be fun!

Ok, so there is some other things I wanna talk about, which is mostly what I'm gonna do and such.
Well, I would say the art gallery is complete for now! There is no other artwork that is missing there, at least at the moment that I'm writing this. I'll also stay away from home for a while, so I won't be able to do digital art, but I might do some drawings on my sketch book, which I'll only be able to add when I get back home, but I'll make that maybe the first priority after getting back. I also have other things that are somewhat unfinished. Chi's e-shrine, while with a lot of stuff, still needs more of the fun facts which I'm able to provide at the moment, so maybe I'll put that as my second priority because it shouldn't take long. The other part is the Copper Odyssey review, which is still somewhat barebones. I would say, at least in terms of the text, it's maybe half-way done. I also already have some screenshots ready, but I'll add those later, so that would be my third priority I would say. After that I would like to add more writing pages, as there is other things I would like to ramble about and I also promised a list of the music I like, which I think it fits the page as well (maybe I should change the explanation I gave that segment as well, as I don't wanna make the writing page just about reviews and such). Besides that I've also been interested on maybe making a "collection" page, which I would should the collection of things I have. I've seen other sites doing things similar and I think that's kinda fun, so I wish to start making one next year as well. I'll do my best to realize all of those and I'm sure I can do it, even if things get much busier!!

Well then, I think this marks the end of this year's final blogpost!! I don't really got anything else to say, besides of a "thank you" for whomever is reading this! I never really expected I would reach this far with this project of mine and frankly the idea that there is people out there that are interested with what I have to say is kinda umbelivable in a way. I'm really greatful for this! It might not seem much, but just knowing this will be read and what I made will be seen by someone motivates me a lot! Thank you very, very much!!
