22/10/2025 Two years of Sillyfes!!!

Yes, it's kinda crazy to say this, but sillyfes is officially two years old now!! That's right, I uploated this site onto the internet in this same exact day, two years ago (although I'm pretty sure I might've done it after midnight at the time LoL). I mean, it might not be the 22th anymore as you're reading this, either because of timezones or you're just reading this in a different day, but it's still the 22th of October for me, so it still counts LoL!!
Kinda crazy it has been this long since I started this site. I know that, in hindsight, it might not sound that long and I might very well repeat myself during the next anniversaries like "wow, it has been so long, it's so crazy", but idk it just doesn't feel like it has been months and months ago, y'know? I was still at school while starting this whole thing and now I'm studying completly different things. I also lost contact with a few people during this time, but I'm glad with the ones that are still with me and also the new one I've met. I'm really greatful for everything.

The reason for releasing this blogpost rather late, it's due the art below. This is a drawing I started working on a few days ago to celebrate the occasion. At first I was dealing with the contest thingy, but I decided to pause that real quick and take care of this, as the idea of making a "celebratory art" is something I really like, but that I unfortunally failed to deliver last year. Being able to actually finish it this time and be pretty proud of it makes me really happy!

Here you can see most of the characters from franchises that represented one way or another here. It's not everyone (I think), but I tried to get the ones that represents each theme (and Nyako is there because I like Nekojiru LoL, but it still makes sense considering the first amv I did is based on Nekojiru Sou)

Once again, thank you for anyone that is seeing this! I'm really glad that there is people out there that seem to enjoy what I write besides myself. I always believed no one would be interested enough to read my ramblings or to enjoy the things I enjoy, so seeing any sort of comfirmation makes me happy. Thank you if you're following me on Neocities, thank you if you're coming from another website, thank if you signed my guestbook or saved my page or if you're ven just passing by. I'm really glad that you decided to take your time to look around here, even if it's just a little. Whomever you are, thank you very much.

After this I'll continue working on the contest art. I have some mentoring scheduled for tomorrow so I can see how I can proceed. It's probably gonna take a while, sooooooo yeah I don't think y'all are going to see it at the moment. I'll try to draw stuff on the side, of course, so I can also add more stuff to the gallery along side it and I'll also see if I can take some time to write stuff, y'know? I don't need to rush myself, but there is some things I would like to write about on the writing page, so I need to pick some time to continue and add to it!!
