Hey y'all, I'm back home now! I was in my Grandma's house last week to commemorate her birthday. We (my mom and I) expected to encounter a could weather there (Curitiba's weather is way different from Salvador), but funnily enough most days were super sunny, to the point from making me sweat. The only day it wasn't sunny was the day we were leaving. Suddenly the sky was all grey and it I believe it began rain a little as well (honestly pretty covenient if you ask me), but like, good thing the weather was good and all, but I can't lie that I wanted a little bit of snow (apparently it can get cold enough to reach that point).

Aside from the weather not being in our favour, the little trip was pretty nice. We always had something to do and it was still pretty relaxing. Honestly I sorta wish we got to stay there for a little longer, but well, we're still going to visit once again in december (hopefully), so it's alright. I also need to actually do stuff like study and updating the site and I like that.
Honestly I just hope my grandma is going to be ok. She is 80 years old now and while she can still walk and such, she already has some struggles. She can't stand up for a long time, she sometimes forget a few things or she feels pain on her body. She also just lives with her cat and dog, but no other human being and while she has neighbors and she seems to talk with them from time to time, she still feels somewhat lonely. It sucks because I wanted to maybe help or something, but I got no job and I sorta already have a life around here in Salvador. The course I'm taking is here, my irl friends are here and wanting or not I'm already just accostumed to this place, even if I think Curitiba does look better. Not only that, but like, if we leave I definetly will miss this apartment. SIlly thing to say, I know, but I've been living here as long as I can remember.
Bleh, this type of situation is somewhat complicated. I hope my Grandma at least stays healthy and secure with her pets. I hope I'll get to enjoy her to the fullest before she goes away...

Sorry, I think I've brought down the mood just now. In a brigther note, my mom, my grandma and I had also watched a movie in the theathers together. It was the movie "Weapons". I questioned my mom if an horror movie was a good pick, but grandma said she used to watch horror movies when she was younger (although she was terrified by them), so it was no biggie. We didn't really thought the movie was that good tbh. It has some plot points that feels random and/or isn't explained at all. I will probably write an review to better explain our points, but eh it was just alright. My grandma liked the part that followed a junkie the most because she thinks it was pretty funny LoL!

Also, I'm not sure how to put add this as it was just something for me, but I managed to buy a PS2 in a gamestore. It was the same store that I got the Pokémon Mystery dungeon cartridge and other things for the 3DS, DS and Wii. I end up going there and other places that has games when I go to Curitiba as gamestores isn't really common here in Salvador. It's an rarity to find anything worth while here, so I like so check out what I can find during the trip.
I decided to buy the PS2 because it was the most interesting thing in the store (at least for me) and also because it was pretty cheap, at least compared to the prices you normally get for retro game consoles (at least here in Brazil, not sure if it's different in other places). It was R$500 (wich would be around 93 american dollar, I think) and that was, like, the console, the cables and a controller. I mean, I also got an memory card and a game there, so it wasn't just that, but frankly it wasn't super expensive either.
My mom was kinda proud of me because I used my saved up money and frankly I guess I'm kinda proud as well because this might be the first time I bought a game console on my own.
It's already plugged on the livingroom tv and it's functioning pretty well. It had a problem that the display was monochrome, but we managed to get an hdmi converter and it's working just fine now. I'm pretty happy for my decision and also because I can actually experience the PS2 on my own.

I forgot to say the game I bought was Sonic Mega Collection Plus! They had some original PS2 games and frankly, out of all of them, I figured this was the best go to. I've always heard it's like, one of the best videogame collections out there (or at least that a lot of people have good memories of it), so it's was the best pick. I've played it and it's working really well (and having the ability to save is great when going after the emeralds LoL)

Well, that's all I have for now. To be honest, it took me a little while to complete this. I started writing when I got home, but I'm finishing it one week later. I can't really explain why, it sorta just happened, but it's ok now. After this I'm focusing on updating the art gallery. That place hasn't seen new art for a while and that's my mistake, I end up waiting and waiting for the better moment and then when I come to it's like, over two weeks that it has been the same. But it's alright, I'll fix this as fast as I can!!
Hope everyone is doing ok! See ya!
