12/07/2025 Sad, but healing

Ok, let's deltarune this thing guys!!

Hello people from the internet! I hope everyone had a great pride month
To be honest with y'all, I'm not feeling that well. I'm not sick or anything, but I'm rather gloomy these past few days. I actually intended to make a blog post at the end of last month, but due to some personal issues I ended up dismotivated to continue. I'm not going into specifics as this is personal not only to me. I know I could just say whatever since this is MY site, but I can't help but feel that's a shittty thing to do.
Also, please don't worry about it. It's just so recent that even when I have fun I ended kinda melancolic when I remember it in any way. My mom said "it's a process similar to grieving" and it's normal to feel this way. Sorry for beggining the blogpost like this by the way, hope this doesn't screw with your mood as well.

Also, as a small side note, I wanted to inform that I deleted my bluesky account and I'm going to update the about page according to that. It's entirelly related to the situation I mentioned, but in hindsight, I wasn't doing anything with that account for a while now and I barelly onpened the app at all. I will also add my youtube channel to my contacts, because even if it isn't entirelly related to this site it's better to keep everything linked together.

Youtube:

Speaking of youtube, I wanted to notify anyone who doesn't know that I've made an new video! It's an AMV again, but this one wasn't made for a course project. It took me around a month I think to make it, and I didn't mentioned it to anyone but my mom and my psychotherapist about it. I'm really proud of it as I didn't have any guidance from my teacher (aside from the things he already taught me) and never in million years I thought I could just make an video on my own.
It's an Klonoa AMV with the music Kimi No Tonari (Next to You/By Your Side) by the artist Hitomi. I combined the two 'cause Hitomi's song was not only used to promote Persona 2 IN, but it's leimotif is used in quite a few of the tracks in-game as well and, in my opinion, I think the main Klonoa titles has certain themes kinda similar to P2 IN (I haven't played P2 yet, mind you, so perhaps you might disagree with me if you played both P2 and Klonoa and frankly that's fair LoL). I've used gameplay from Silverihan (Klonoa 1) and from Retronyash (Klonoa 2), but mostly for cutscenes. Klonoa 1's cgi cutscenes and Klonoa Heroes commercial were found on internet archive.
I hope you'll enjoy it!

Stop Killing Games:

You might've already heard about this one in the past few days, as I've got a lot of recommendations about this topic and I assume it must be similar to a handful of other people as well.
If you're not aware, Stop Killing Games is an initiative with the goal of stopping game companies to just take away the consumer's acess to play their game, including stuff like online games and such. In my opinion, that's a really commendable thing to do, since it's bizarre how some companies say "you have to get accustomed to not owning our games" thinking like it's a good thing. Things like that wouldn't fly if it was any other product, so it's great someone had the innitiave to do something about it!!
If you live in the EU I suggest checking their site and consider sign it up if you haven't done so already. From what I've seen, apparently people outside of EU can't sign it because that would be considered as "fake" and isn't going to affect anything, but if you can always just share this information around. That would help!
(The innitiave's creator also has a Youtube channel and he is posting updates on how things are going, so also check that up for any new information)

Other things:

Originally I wanted to talk a little about Deltarune. Not to spoil anything, but just because I was playing it last month and I think it's an highlight of the month for me. Really fun game, even if we are only half way through the story. I'll probably make a review about it after finishing the AotK one (I'm still working on it. Sorry, I'm just focusing on other stuff)
Talking about Deltarune, I'm sorta looking foward on OFF's remake. I already played the original a few years ago and I really liked it, and frankly, being able to buy it is pretty cool. Maybe I should try and get an physical copy, but in anyway, it's cool Mortis Ghost is gonna get payed for it. Kinda of shame that Alias Conrad won't come back for the soundtrack, but it's his decision and I totally respect it as well. Honestly remakes and such are in weird spot for me, because there is always the risk that the new version will misunderstand the original's vision, but sometimes remakes happens because the developers lost the source code, which sucks as well. But idk, the One Shot on steam is a remake and from what I've looked it seems to retain the same vision. People praise Mad Father's and Ib's remakes as well, which I can't comment on, but they seem to add more than to take away. Idk, things like that certainly isn't black and white and there might be different reasons for why it happens with different games, but sucks when it erases certain aspects of art.
Sorry, I've just looked on opinions and analysis about remakes quite recently perhaps I've been thinking a lot about it.

Anyway, that's, like, the most importants things I wanna talk about for now. Finishing this, I'll update the about page and also continue writting my review. I know that I say "sorry" too much even though this site is mine and I could do whatever I like, but I would like to actually deliver on what I've said, y'know? I hope that understandable and not annoying, specially when I end up repeating myself, like how I'm probably doing right now.
Well, see y'all next time!! I have things to do, text to finish!! The grind never stopssssss!!!!!

Let's go!!
