26/05/2025 How come I've got sick!!?

C'mon now... (@_ @;;)
Hello people from the internet! Ok, so, yeah I guess it took me a little while to write this. I know it's not important, I mean, I am just making this site for myself and other people just happens to see it and like it, but I'm not comfortable not updating it enough. Frankly, that's probably just my schedule's fault more than anything, because I'm sure I could find some time to write and add stuff, even if just a little. But it's alright! If I see this as some sort of job it won't be as fun anymore right? Need to keep a balance where I have fun and I won't feel like a lazy bum for not updating it.
Whatever, enough of this ramble of mine. I should tell y'all what I've done this month. It.... it wans't anything grand, in fact, I didn't do a lot of stuff (at least I can't think of much at the moment), so yeah this probably won't take long (just in case if it does take long, I'm sorry, I can't really predict the future and I won't really change the beggining right now. I'm sticking with this)!!
First things first: I've got sick a few days ago. It was the in the week before the last one, in sunday I believe, that I started to cough and have this insane fever. When it started, I was going to sleep, so I was caught off guard from getting all cold! My mom had the exact same condition before me, and we had gone to the hospital to check her condition. It tuned out she got influenza and it's very likely I also got it from her. Luckly enough, my mom was already fine when I was feeling the symptoms, so she took care of me. From what we were told, influenza is active only during 7 days, so yeah I had to stay at home for a week. I was feeling better after wednesday, but it was still for the best if I stayed home for the recommended amount of days. This means that I ended up not going to my course that week and I didn't got to have a session with my therapists either. It was a bit boring, but at least I tried to pass the time by watching the anime I didn't finish and/or wanted to watch. I finished the second season of Mob Psycho 100 and the first season of Dan Da Dan. Mob Psycho 100 was really nice, I reconized some scenes from the manga volumes that I've got and it was nice to see how it was adapted, I'll make sure to watch season three. Dan Da Dan was alright. I liked some aspects of it, but also disliked others. To be fair, the things I enjoyed totally made a bigger impact to me anyway, so I dunno, I'll probably watch season two when it realeases and read the manga as well.

(I'm not going in huge detail because I don't wanna spoil AND clutter this blogpost with nonsense)
Well, one thing that my mom and I did before both of us got sick was going to an exposition on a mall. The exposition was about "El Chavo Del Ocho" (also know as "Chaves") and also "El Chapolín Colorado", while also talking about Chespirito's career and his others works (most that didn't even come to Brazil). Learning about Chespirito was really interesting to me. It was hard to, like, read at all because there was a lot of people there, but I haven't seen much of his career before going to the expposition which is kinda crazy to think about considering that two of his works are pretty well know over here. Every room was also decorated beautifully in my opinion. It was almost like we were in some set in a tv show with the things they've put. I distinctly remember this big typewriter in the first room and there was a big screen that simulates paper coming out, with informations written as a newspaper. There was also audios from the shows playing which was cool, but again, I couldn't understand them very well since there was a bunch of people there LoL. The parts mostly focused on El Chapolín had a bunch of props from the show and also pretty detailed statues of Chapolín and Super Sam ("time is money baby!"), but the mostly surprising thing was the recreation of the sets from El Chavo! There were recreations of every place that appears in the show, which was kinda magical. My mom said it "almost look like we are really there"!
I'm not sure who was responsible for any of this, but I really have to say: It was really well made! I wasn't puting that much faith in it considering it was on the mall, y'know? But this expostion was as detailed as the last museums/art expostions I've last seen. must've taken them quite some time to set everything up, but I think it was really worth, although I suppose it isn't forever and it will probably end after a few months. Frankly, talking about it kinda makes me want to see more museums over here, because it's pretty fun to learn and see things you didn't know before (or even learn new things from something you're familiar with).

(I've censored mine, my mom's, and whomever else's face for sake of privacy and because we didn't had much pictures without us)
I've talked in the previous blogpost that I had found one of my friends' twitter accounts by accident and... well they ended up find out that I found them out LoL! That happened because I asked them to read some of the stuff I've added to the site, since I didn't share anything of it for a while now. They of course read that part in specific and connected the dots pretty easily, and they asked me if they were the "Mysterious Person" mentioned. Which I replied with "yeah". I'm glad that happened to be honest, because I wasn't really sure if I should've talked about it directly. Also, I'm glad they didn't got mad or anything. I was kinda worried about other people I know, but they laught it off and said I was "pretty respectful about it". We're following eachother now, dispite the fact that I don't post anything at all, but I'm glad how things turned out nonetheless!! If they are reading this, I hope everything's alright and hopefully we get to draw together some other time. It would be fun!

Well, I think that's all for now. Looking at it now I actually wrote a lot, huh? I suppose one shouldn't understimate how long something can be even if you don't have much to say. I have some things to do this week, such as a birthday gift and also a script for a personal project. I'll try to update as much as a can in the middle of doing both of those things. I have some new drawings to show, so I think I should update the gallery later. I'll focus on my Anthology of the Killer review after this. I actually some some more, but I didn't like how some parts turned out so I'll have to rewrite it. Well, I have to go now! See ya next time!
